Positives- the cage is aesthetically pleasing and very spacious for the hamster.
Cons- it was hard to get the pieces to fit together, whoever designed this clearly didn’t make accurate measurements. The “ladder” for each of the platforms was more of a slide. I had to add steps to the ladder to stop my hamster from sliding down. I would not recommend this product.
Really chuffed with the overall size of this cage, however one of the wheels came cracked (although we haven’t used them)
Great size cage. Really nice when when its all put together and not to difficult.
This is a nice sized cage for a hamster, room to get a 28cm wheel and some other accessories. Not too fiddly to put together, you need a bit of a heavy hand at times and we used a knife to wrench the roof clips on but now it’s very secure. Also, for future owners, bend the clip on the side door a bit to make that more secure too as hamsters are notorious escape artists!
Cage is huge and secure, and easy enough to put together. Driver dumped the box on my doorway and didn’t leave a note nor try my neighbour as instructed, and one of the wheels was shattered.
Our Syrian, Molly is so much happier in this cage. The size is perfect! Syrians love climbing and this cage is good for that! Highly recommended.
Easy to assemble and looks good as well
This cage is the approx recommended size for a Syrian hamster. Daughter’s hamster has already stopped chewing the bars of her cage (had bought a smaller cage and hamster clearly not happy) and is enjoying the additional space. Base arrived damaged but Little Pet Warehouse were extremely quick in sending out a replacement, no quibble. Generally the cage is fine, though as others have pointed out, a larger door further down would be beneficial, the wheels are not large enough for a Syrian and also, further side locks would be a good addition. Very much depends on what you choose to house in it, but generally a good
cage for a lone Syrian. Thanks
Brilliant size cage for my rats. Plenty of room. Easy to put together. Looks nice and sturdy. Only downside is wheels and house are too small for rats.
Our little Syrian hamster loves her new cage. The wooden shelves and ramps can be adjusted to any height. Plenty of room for her to run around and play in the bottom level. There’s enough height for her to climb. She’s very active! Easy to construct and lovely quality. Definitely worth the money. The wheels are too small but can easily be replaced.
Fantastic cage for our Hamster, most hamster cages are too small in my opinion. This cage lets ‘Hammy’ spend the evenings climbing the bars and enjoying the extra space. He does not present any stress signs such as chewing the bars.
We replaced the wheel with a flat one as the wheels provided are too small and can give a growing hamsters a curved spine.
We hide his food on different levels to ensure he has plenty to do, there is even enough room to place a sand bath in once a week which he loves.
