Quite disappointed with it to be all honest it was bent scratched and really not the easiest thing to put together..wasn’t worth £146
good sturdy cage but assembly instructions were poor.
I would advise assembling outside then carry indoors once complete. You need a lot of space (height) to build OR at least 3 pairs of hands. The instructions give a very brief guide but no reference to which bolts and nuts to use on which piece. We left our nuts and bolts “hand tight” because the supplied tool doesn’t fit them – thankfully this method was ok. Once built, it’s the perfect size for our 2 budgies and at such a good price you can forgive the assembly issues, the slightly bent panels, sharp roof edges, and just overall misfitting. It does the job and from a distance looks nice. I would buy one again if needed but only at this low price. Petwarehouse were brilliant as a seller as usual, delivery very quick and all arranged with ease.
Its a lovely cage once set up, took a little of a ding or two in transportation but doesn’t show once cage is built, we bought for rats and its perfect for what we wanted

I recommend detaching the sliding door and using zips or wire to make hinges on one side. A bird got caught in the sliding door and died:( . Another issue is that it’s very hard to move the cage on carpet. Also it is not a sturdy cage. It’s held together with sliding aluminum strips. There isn’t much to the base.
I belive bases should be solid and have some weight to them. Because the base is so light, it’s unwieldy with all the weight of the height sides. The sides want to flex out of the aluminum straps that are holding it together. I used needle nosed pliers to crimp the metal strips more tightly where one side meets another and its still really unstable. Next step is to get steel zip ties and hope I can get it into a moving truck when I move without it falling apart enroute.
Received item quickly, in good condition, the item was exactly what was described.

I love the corner design the birds have plenty of room and the pull out tray makes cleaning really easy, the only thing I don’t like is that the doors are not secure they don’t lock into place so I have had to use a clip to keep them closed as one of my birds is an excellent escape artist!!
Great cage, once we understood the instructions easy to build. Budgies love their new home!
