My boys (Tiels x 2) already had this cage but because it was 10yrs old and showing its age (loss of enamel, a few broken cage bars…) I ordered this exact same make/model as a replacement. This cage is sturdy and well built. The stand/cage combination means easy movement and if you don’t need the stand then the top cage can be used on its own. The removable tray ensures easy cleaning and the grated base can be optional.
It has more than ample space for my boys (I think it would be good for up to maybe 4 or 5 Tiels to enjoy) and the bar spacing is exactly right for them to climb about. The assembly is easy and straight forward to do.
I was extremely happy with the delivery of this item as it was very quick.
I would recommend this cage if you are getting it for new feathered ones.
The only negative is that, if you already have this cage and want an exact replica, please be aware that the doors on the side panels are NOT in the same place as shown in the picture.
The cage I was sent had side doors that are located lower down in the panel and not at the top as shown.
My boys were so used to the easily accessible top location of the doors on their original cage (they use them the most to enter/exit the cage) that I had to replace the panels on the new cage with the ones from the old cage as they got confused with the new placement. For 5 days, after swapping them over to this new cage, they wouldn’t go in to eat and it took me an hour to get them in at bed time. I decided, for their well-being, that I needed to swap the side panels back to what they knew.
Such a shame that I paid for a cage that I then had to re-use old panels from a cage that had seen better days because the picture shown didn’t reflect the actual product I was sent.
Other than that, I would definitely recommend.

This is a lovely no frills cage, sturdy, easy to put together and a good size. I was worried that it might look a bit much in my living room but the soft grey colour helps it look less intrusive. Great value for the price too!

Simple to build, easily built within 30 to 45 minutes. Although it doesn’t come with step by step instructions I can tell you that the large screws are for the stand and the small screws are for the main cage. It’s designed so you build the stand and cage separately. You can remove the cage from the stand for easy cleaning. If you buy this cage you won’t be disappointed.
