Pet Suitability
This cage is specifically designed for rats, chinchillas, and ferrets, providing them with ample space for exploration and play.
The only reason its a four is some parts were broken when they arrived, however littepetwarehouse replaced the parts next day so can recommend
There’s also large gaps in between the cage and the ramps, meaning an animal could fall and hurt itself if its not steady footed
Arrived with one broken clip at the base of the cage which isn’t too much of an issue.
But the grates of the cage I had to remove as rats feet can get caught in them and can cause injuries and bumblefoot, so always remove the grates on cages!!
But the boys absolutely love their new cage and it has so much space for them to run about and climb!
i ordered 2 cages for my 6 rats as replacements for the identical last 2 cages that have seen better days, i then cut a hole in each of the metal parts and connect them via a ferret tunnel in the rears of cages to make a giant space for my girls to run though and have access to both enclosures, i had cut the bars out first and not checked the main plastic bases, one of the bases was completely shattered from someone dropping it via courier i suspect, so i was unable to make a return as i had already modified them, i was able to salvage the best of my other 2 bases, scrub it up and use that, the price and company are fine but the courier company was not, the indian delivery guy even needed me to help him carry one of the boxes from his van to my house and i sufferer from degenerate disc disease in my back so struggled abit, not sure why he didn’t have a helper mate with him, the box didn’t have plastic wrap straps on it, that was the box that the broke base was in, thats why i have given 4 stars only, the product is perfect for use and perfect for my girls, i would use this company again but will definitely check everything out before i make changes, thanks
Delivery was quick, communication was good so we knew what was happening.
When opened 2 of the clips had snapped off (probably the courier not being careful with the package). On that note it may be an idea for lpw to add extra protection in these areas when packing products for shipping.
Emailed customer services who were really quick to reply, and they’re sending us some replacement clips out.
My pet rats have escaped cage loads of times in just a few days.. some parts are missing and parts of the cage is bent.

My cage arrived promptly. Sadly the base clips had snapped. I emailed the company and replacements sent straight out, along with a free gift. Brilliant customer service.
Really great product at a great price. Unfortunately part of the cage was damaged in transit however they got straight onto a resolution and I had a replacement part within a couple of days. Would recommend.
The cage was easy to fit together, and didn’t take too long either.
It did however require some bending and forcing, as the bars came bent on one side and it caused misalignment between the sides and layers.
I have 3 boy rats and I’ve only built up the bottom two stories. This is more than enough room and they have so much room to play. It is so easy to clean and easy to open on all levels. Absolutely perfect. Thr kittle ramp on the bottom door is handy for my boys to come in and out off
