Amazing size cage, loads of space. Incredibly challenging to put together! I ended up using string to tie together to hold in place before putting rods in – this helped massively. Disappointed that the box came very damaged and some of the panels of the cage were bent slightly. Very sturdy when put together but looks like it will be a nightmare to clean as bottom door opening very small
Good but does need 2 people to build, think ladder to steep for my gineaupigs, but rabbit is happy climbing up.Came with no instructions just a picture.
Lots of space but very challenging assembly and does not actually stay up on it’s own. Took lots of extra cable ties, string and homemade support pillars to take the weight of the top floor (and that was before guineas were in there). Fell down more times than I can count but finally got it up. I have the 1m square cage from the same brand that did not have these issues – recommend that instead. Difficult assembly makes it not an easy clean either. Ramp does not fit hole and plastic base arrived cracked but was replaced.
A bit tricky to assemble but sturdy when done. Like others I needed to make a couple adaptions. Covered the ramp with carpet, and added some wood to the bottom of the ramp as its too steep for guinea pigs.
Also when cleaning out the bottom of the cage it’s easer to pull one of the pins out and open the whole front section, as the little flap is in an awkward place.
Great space though, a lot bigger than I thought
The ladder does not fit properly to the upper cage and also needs wooden ridges added to help guinea pigs up and down..At the moment it’s like a slide instead of a ladder/ramp.
The cage itself is hard to clean as has little openings..Thinking of selling it and getting a different one now.
This item is VERY strong and stable. It is also a great size and allows our bunny to have space to move around when locked in a night. There are a few points to be aware of: The sleeping areas are small so are only suitable for a guinea pig or a very small rabbit/ baby. We have a small mini lop and she struggled to get in and be comfortable. We had to use a larger house from a previous cage. The cage opening on the lower unit allows the bunny/ guinea pig to hop in and out however they can get their feet trapped on the grill which hinges out. We have bent the bars to remove this door during the day. There are no instructions for assembly, only a poor quality part assembled graphic. This needs addressing to help customers. It shouldn’t be too difficult to produce a step by step guide (similar to what you’d get from a certain Swedish furniture store).
May I just say “this is huge” as far as rabbit/guinea pigs, I only have one very lucky dwarf rabbit and he looks like a baby all over again.
Overly happy with this purchase and will recommend to everyone I know with similar pets
I ordered this product for my bunny to live inside the house in during the winter, it did not disappoint! The actual product is MUCH bigger than it looks on the photo which is great as it means my rabbit has a huge cage to run around in. He loves having all the space!
The only downside to this product is that it doesn’t come with instructions, it’s not too difficult to work out but the image it comes with isn’t helpful and I resorted to looking back on the website at the proper photos to work out how to build it.
Worth the money though!
much bigger than expected but my two little buns are very happy in their new home, unfortunatly the instructions were just a picture of the finished product but we got there in the end.
The cage is built really well.
