Yes the rats nibble at them, but they would do that with any hammock, it’s in their nature. For under £4 these are excellent and they are cheap to replace. I highly recommend them.

Not really sturdy, My two pet rats made light work of the hammock, they enjoyed being in it but it lasted just over a week without holes been made in the sides of it. 🙁
