Description
Summary
The Little Friends Atlantis Glass Gerbilarium is a spacious, multi-level enclosure combining a transparent glass base with a black metal wire upper cage.
Measuring 103cm long, 52cm wide and 55.5cm high, the Atlantis provides an impressive footprint with additional elevated areas for climbing and exploration.
The glass lower section is particularly useful for creating a burrowing environment, helping to contain loose bedding while allowing owners to watch their pets explore beneath the surface.
Above the glass base, the ventilated metal wire section features two wooden platforms and connecting wooden ramps, creating different areas for movement, resting and enrichment.
Its combination of clear glass, black metal and natural wood gives the Atlantis a modern appearance that fits comfortably into a home environment.

Pet Suitability
The Atlantis may be considered for the following small animals, subject to their individual requirements:
Gerbils
The glass lower section can be used to create a burrowing environment, with the upper platforms offering additional activity areas. Gerbils require sufficient uninterrupted bedding depth for tunnelling, along with appropriate enrichment and space.
Hamsters
The 103 × 52cm external footprint provides a larger continuous base area than many compact hamster cages. However, the usable internal area, bedding depth, bar spacing and space for a correctly sized running wheel should be checked before use. A single-level, deep-bedded setup may be more appropriate for some hamsters.
Other Small Rodents
Suitability depends on the animal’s size, climbing ability, ventilation needs, bar spacing and minimum enclosure requirements.
Important Information
- The stated dimensions are overall external measurements.
- Ensure ramps and raised platforms are securely positioned before use.
- Provide sufficient bedding, appropriate hiding places and species-specific enrichment.
- Check that any elevated areas do not create unsafe fall distances.
- Additional accessories may be required depending on your pet’s needs.
- Check bar spacing and the usable internal dimensions before purchasing.
