Coco Rat & Hamster Cage with Platforms: Large 100x70x54cm

Got this cage for my Syrian hamster Otto - he loves it! My hammy is pretty big and very active, his smaller cage was fine whilst he was a pup but as he grew it just wasn't giving him much fulfilment, and he'd started gnawing on the bars. I have to say it is huge - I've found it is only just about possible to move around by myself! Bar spacing is great, I did pinch it in at the top corners as suggested, although my syrian is a hefty 200g so I don't think he was likely to get out anyway!

I agree with other reviews that this was a pain to put together, and the clips are pretty much unuseable - that said, the bars are so heavy that they're not really necessary. Overall this is a stunning cage for the price, much better quality than any others I've seen on the market at this price point. Otto is very happy with his new home!

We ordered this after our Syrian hamster was obviously getting stressed in her smaller house. This cage is just perfect for her. It's a lot bigger than the picture and has ample space in the tray for deep bedding, wheel, sand bath and her hideout house. She loves the ramps.
Since moving in she hasn't been chewing the bars and seems so much happier in her new home.
I noticed there were comments regarding the gaps in the bars. I was worried about this, but she hasn't attempted to escape and is fully grown so no chance of her fitting through now. The largest gaps you can attach a cable tie to block it- although this really should be taken into account in the future manufacturing.
It seems really sturdy and has room for more shelves.
The only negative was the top shelf which they can fall off - we added a small wooden bar along the edge, and then she has walked along it rather than look over the edge.
Great value - so much cheaper than some in the pet stores and more space- and fast delivery. Would recommend.

I bought this cage after making a mistake with a previous cage. I love the cage now it’s up! It’s very sturdy and a perfect size for my 3 girls, they have settled in very quickly, they love it.
Putting it together was a challenge for me doing it on my own but I managed it and I’m over 60. Two people would have the cage up and running in no time.
I think the cage is excellent value for money. I just wish I’d bought it first!

Firstly, this cage is huge! It is much bigger than it looks on the photos.
Easy to put together. But you will need to fasten the corners together with tie wraps or you will find it will fold in on itself when you take it off the base.
Huge top door, and a good size front door. Ideal for rats. Easily big enough for four chunky males. Bags of floor space and will easily take a 16 inch tic tac wheel through the door on the top. The shelves are nice and thick, and easy to assemble. Bags of room for toys and hanging bits like tubes , ,hammocks and sputniks.
Fast dispatch too. Ordered late Monday night and it arrived Wednesday. Lovely courier too.
I always purchase my cages from here and they've never let me down yet.

i recently got this for my three male rats, its a great size with loads of floor space and plenty of room for them to climb. its one of if not the best budget cage for rats that ive ever seen! the door size is great, the base is about 7 inches which is perfect for loose bedding. it was incredibly easy to set up, i did it alone in less than 10 minutes : ) the bar spacing is perfect at 1.2 cm, even at the edges where its a bit wider they are still too small for a rat to escape and just make it easier to pet my boys through the bars lol. 10/10
