I initially had second thoughts about buying this due to its size as I have 14 adult rats. I just wanted to add a new type hammock to the cage’s. Two of the biggest boy’s snuggle up in there, and a third will do his best to squash in … One way or another. Such a hit with them, I’ve had to order another.
In addition, because it’s narrow, it takes up less cage space.
The peephole is a great design feature as they always add one if it’s a plain hammock. It is a bit cramped for six rats.
